On behalf of the community of students and staff at Government Associate College (GAC) Raiwind, Lahore, I welcome you warmly to our webpages. Since its inception in 1987 GAC RAIWIND Lahore has been one of the leading educational institutions in Raiwind area. Raiwind is now a semi urban tehsil of Lahore district and has 1.5 million population and GAC Raiwind is the only male public sector college in this tehsil. We have pursued, nurtured and celebrated excellence in a wide variety of disciplines.
It is a matter of fact, that We have not yet produced any Nobel laureates or well acclaimed person, but we can and shall do it Insha-Allah. Even we are in the process of self-recognition and in the phase of evolution, still our students, contributing strongly toward national development. Entering into its 34th year, there is a lot to be proud of in our achievements yet, there is little time to rest on these laurels. The strategic need is to develop our potential and so maximize our contribution to the GAC RAIWIND within Lahore and the wider country.
In my initial address to colleagues at the GAC RAIWIND in January 2021 as vice principal, I have pledged to initiate the changes necessary for these goals, with the ultimate aim of restoring this College to a place amongst the best colleges in the city. My motto is EDUCATE THE RAIWIND, and we the teachers and students shall achieve this goal with our endless efforts and strong zeal. Insha Allah.
